What should I expect?
Before the conference, delegates research their country and committee topic and prepare a position paper. Then, during committee sessions, delegates will have the opportunity to present prepared and impromptu speeches, which helps establish a point of view and leads into resolution writing. There are breaks between committee sessions, and there are three main types of committees one can participate in: General Assembly, Specialized Agencies, and Crisis Committees, each with varying levels of creativity and difficulty involved.
